Effective Jan. 1, 2019 the price of most Perdomo cigars will increase.

Like many will eventually do, Perdomo has announced a price increase for 2019, one that covers most of the company’s lines. Almost every line will increase 25 cents per cigar at the retail level.

There are some exceptions. First, Perdomo Fresco will only increase 10 cents per cigar, secondly, the Mini Cigarillos will go up 2.5 cents per cigar at the retail level.

Three lines not increasing are Double Aged 12 Years Vintage, Estate Seleccion Vintage and Small Batch Series. Those are the same three lines the company opted not to increase prices on for 2018.

In a letter sent to retailers, the company mentioned its efforts in regards to fighting regulations.

“Perdomo Cigars is committed to protecting you and your customers from the punitive costs directly affecting our industry,” wrote Nick Perdomo Jr. in a letter to retailers. “We are also one of the only manufacturers to financially support all three trade organizations; the International Premium Cigar & Pipe Retailers Association (IPCPR), the Cigar Association of America (CAA), and the Cigar Rights of America (CRA), helping to protect our industry from the overreach of the FDA. Our approach moving forward is to continue offering the highest quality premium cigars at affordable price points.”
