Last year Global Premium Cigars added the 1502 Nicaragua, this year, it’s adding a size to the line.

The second 1502 Nicaragua will be a 7 x 48 churchill. Enrique Sánchez—owner of Global Premium Cigars, the parent of the 1502 brand—told halfwheel that the new size has arrived in Miami and will begin shipping this week. The 1502 Nicaragua Churchill has a suggested retail price of $8 per cigar and will come in boxes of 20.

Previously the line has only been sold in a 5 x 50 robusto.

The 1502 Nicaragua is rolled at Plasencia Cigars S.A. It’s a Nicaraguan puro that uses tobaccos from Condega, Estelí, Jalapa and Ometepe—the major growing regions of Nicaragua.

In addition, Sánchez told halfwheel that he will be offering the 1502 Black Gold, Emerald and Ruby Perfecto (6 1/8 x 50) to retailers who place orders at the 2015 IPCPR Convention & Trade Show next month. Previously, the Perfecto vitola for the company’s first three lines has only been available to 1502-branded lounges.

Global Premium Cigars is distributed by House of Emilio.
