Zev Kaminetsky, a longtime sales manager for Drew Estate, is no longer with the company.

Kaminetsky most recently served as national sales director for specialty retail, a position he started in 2016. He previously served as a sales representative for a little over a year before being promoted to regional sales manager in 2012.

“I just want to say thank you to Drew Estate, my co-workers, customers and consumers for the experiences and opportunities afforded to me over these past six plus years,” said Kaminetsky in a text message to halfwheel.

“The friendships I have made, the valuable lessons that I have learned, and the support I was given will never be forgotten. This is especially true in regard to the members of the sales organization, both past and present. I will forever feel fortunate to have been a part of that family.”

Prior to his time at Drew Estate, Kaminetsky worked two years for Inter-Continental Cigar Corp. and a year and a half for Camacho.

Kaminetsky told halfwheel he will “see what the future holds.”

A replacement is expected to be announced shortly. Glenn Wolfson, ceo of Drew Estate, declined to comment.

I am an editor and co-founder of halfwheel.com/Rueda Media, LLC. I previously co-founded and published TheCigarFeed, one of the two predecessors of halfwheel. I have written about the cigar industry for more than a decade, covering everything from product launches to regulation to M&A. In addition, I handle a lot of the behind-the-scenes stuff here at halfwheel. I enjoy playing tennis, watching boxing, falling asleep to the Le Mans 24, wearing sweatshirts year-round and eating gyros. echte liebe.
