XIKAR has begun shipping the latest addition to its portfolio of lighters, the single jet flame Allume, which was first featured on halfwheel in April. The first batch of shipments is leaving the company’s warehouse today and should be on store shelves by the end of the week with orders continuing to be filled throughout the week.

“XIKAR is excited to expand our family of lighters. The addition of the Allume adds a smaller accessory option and a new variety of bold colors for the consumer,” said Kurt Van Keppel, CEO and Founder of XIKAR, via a press release this morning.

The Allume is a single flame side squeeze lighter and is available in the US in eight color options: Tuxedo (Black), Steel (Silver), Alpine (White), Electric (Yellow), Riot (Red), Crush (Orange), Imperial (Purple) and Stealth (G2). It measures 1.3 inches wide, 2.15 inches tall and a mere half of an inch thick, making it very pocket friendly.

The Allume sells for $49.99, and will also be available via XIKAR’s website.

I strive to capture the essence of a cigar and the people behind them in my work – every cigar you light up is the culmination of the work of countless people and often represents generations of struggle and stories. For me, it’s about so much more than the cigar – it’s about the story behind it, the experience of enjoying the work of artisans and the way that a good cigar can bring people together. In addition to my work with halfwheel, I’m the public address announcer for the Colorado Rockies and Arizona Diamondbacks during spring training, as well as for the Salt River Rafters of the Arizona Fall League, the WNBA's Phoenix Mercury and previously the Arizona Rattlers of the Indoor Football League. I also work in a number of roles for Major League Baseball, plus I'm a voice over artist. Prior to joining halfwheel, I covered the Phoenix and national cigar scene for Examiner.com, and was an editor for Cigar Snob magazine.
