Warped Cigars has confirmed one of its most sought after releases is coming back.

In 2015, it launched La Colmena Black Honey. Described as a hybrid between its La Colmena line and its original El Oso, the company released just 600 cigars to 13 total retailers. Now, it’s coming back.

On a website launched specifically for the announcement, http://www.blackhoneyreturns.com/the company says the cigars are already aging at El Titan de Bronze in Miami:

We are ecstatic to finally be able to revive this incredibly sought after blend for you. After speaking with Sandy of El Titan de bronze, and Jose, the roller who was responsible for the original production, we were able to bring life to the project once again. These cigars have been quietly aging down at El Titan de Bronze, hidden in the depths of the aging room until they are ready for release.

Black Honey uses an Ecuadorian habano oscuro wrapper, the same from EL OSO, and an Ecuadorian binder and Dominican and Nicaraguan fillers, the same as La Colmena.

It finished 12th on halfwheel‘s Top 25 for 2015.

Kyle Gellis, Warped’s founder, declined to provide additional details about the new Black Honey release.
