Warped Cigars has shipped the 2017 version of its La Colmena Black Honey.

The 5 x 48 belicoso was originally released in 2015, limited to just 600 cigars sold to 13 retailers. It has quickly become Warped’s most sought after cigar, so naturally, it got a second release.

Black Honey uses an Ecuadorian habano oscuro wrapper from the company’s EL OSO line on top of the regular La Colmena internal blend: an Ecuadorian binder and Dominican and Nicaraguan fillers.

The new release is priced at $16.50 per cigar, or $165 per bundle of 10, up $1 per cigar from the original release.

Warped’s Kyle Gellis declined to disclose how many cigars the company made for this release, but it is being sold at 67 retailers.
