After teasing the next addition to Warped Cigars’ Flor Del Valle line last December, Kyle Gellis confirmed details of the new cigar to halfwheel this morning.

Las Brumas will be a 4 1/2 x 48 petite robusto packed in 25 count cabinet boxes with an MSRP of $9.45 per cigar and $236.25 per box. It will be a regular production addition and is the third size in the Flor Del Valle line, joining the 6 x 42 Cristales and 5 1/2 x 50 Gran Valle.

Flor Del Valle is produced at the Tabacos Valle de Jalapa S.A. (TABSA) factory in Estelí, Nicaragua, and is a Nicaraguan puro made entirely of AGANORSA tobacco with a corojo 99 wrapper from Jalapa and mixture of corojo 99 and criollo 98 fillers.

While the new size was originally forecast to be on store shelves this month, Gellis pushed the release date back a bit, saying he is shooting for mid to late March, or early April at the latest. Gellis has had this size in mind for a line extension since announcing Flor del Valle in July 2014.

I strive to capture the essence of a cigar and the people behind them in my work – every cigar you light up is the culmination of the work of countless people and often represents generations of struggle and stories. For me, it’s about so much more than the cigar – it’s about the story behind it, the experience of enjoying the work of artisans and the way that a good cigar can bring people together. In addition to my work with halfwheel, I’m the public address announcer for the Colorado Rockies and Arizona Diamondbacks during spring training, as well as for the Salt River Rafters of the Arizona Fall League, the WNBA's Phoenix Mercury and previously the Arizona Rattlers of the Indoor Football League. I also work in a number of roles for MLB.com, plus I'm a voice over artist. Prior to joining halfwheel, I covered the Phoenix and national cigar scene for Examiner.com, and was an editor for Cigar Snob magazine.
