Earlier this week, Brian Burt pondered whether we would see the Viaje Zombie 2015 soon—and we will.

The Viaje Zombie will once again be offered in red and green flavors. While a representative of Viaje told halfwheel said, “2 versions exactly like last year”—it’s unclear whether the cigars will be the same 5 x 52 size as last year. The Zombie with green lettering features a Nicaraguan criollo wrapper, whereas the red-lettered Zombie uses an undisclosed maduro wrapper.

Pricing is $10.50 per cigar, down from $11 per cigar last year. Production is once again 100 boxes of 20 cigars per blend.

Only two stores will receive the Viaje Zombie (2015) and brand owner Andre Farkas will be doing events with each for the release.

Farkas will be at Winston’s Humidor in Midlothian, Va. on April 24 for the first event. The following day he will be at Serious Cigar in Houston, Texas. It’s unclear whether Serious Cigar will have a separate event for Farkas or whether he will be part of the Texas Cigar Festival, which takes place on April 25. The large multi-vendor event can only be attended by those with tickets, which sold out in a matter of minutes.

Last year’s two stores—Atlantic Cigar Co. and R. Field Wine Co.—received both versions of the Zombie.

The two newest releases will be the 10th and 11th version of the Zombie family and the seventh and eighth Zombie-banded releases since its introduction in April 2011.
