One of Viaje’s most storied releases will return, at least in name, later this month.

The company has announced that it will release the Skull and Bones Daisy Cutter Edición Limitada. It will use a different blend than the original, which was a Nicaraguan puro highlighted by a sun grown criollo wrapper. The 2017 version uses a Mexican San Andrés wrapper over a Nicaraguan binder and fillers.

A representative from Viaje did not immediately return request for comment, so it’s unclear if the size is the same as the original, which was a 4 x 54. Daisy Cutter, which debuted in May 2010, was the first in the Skull and Bones series, which has seen nearly 30 releases.

It’s part of Viaje’s Edición Limitada program, which means this will be the only time this blend is released in this shape. Pricing, production and factory details have not been announced.
