It’s not the infamous el niño diablo Lanceros, but it is a custom blend by your’s truly. Much like Brooks’ blend at Joya de Nicaragua, neither one of us have smoked this yet, so thanks for being the guinea pig. There’s a lot of Nicaraguan tobacco in what appears to be a 5 x 44 Corona that was crafted during Cigar Safari at La Gran Fabrica Drew Estate. And there’s only 12 of them. Oh, and I’m responsible if this isn’t good.

I am an editor and co-founder of halfwheel.com/Rueda Media, LLC. I previously co-founded and published TheCigarFeed, one of the two predecessors of halfwheel. I have written about the cigar industry for more than a decade, covering everything from product launches to regulation to M&A. In addition, I handle a lot of the behind-the-scenes stuff here at halfwheel. I enjoy playing tennis, watching boxing, falling asleep to the Le Mans 24, wearing sweatshirts year-round and eating gyros. echte liebe.
