Retailers have begun receiving two new releases from Tatuaje, the 2014 Lancero Sampler and the first vitola of the new Tattoo series. Both items are regular production, although are made to serve different roles.

Tatuaje Lancero Sampler

The Tatuaje Lancero Sampler will be made regularly, but limited in production.

The $95 sampler includes ten cigars, one each of a 7 1/2 x 38 Selection de Cazador (Brown Label), Havana VI, Private Reserve (Black Label), Cabaiguan, Cabaiguan Guapos, La Riqueza, El Triunfador Original, El Triunfador, La Casita Criolla and Fausto.

Four of the cigars have been released previously: Selection de Cazador (Brown Label) Especiales, Black Label Lancero, El Triunfador No. 6 and El Triunfador Lancero Limited, which Johnson has admitted is really a lancero version of the Cabaiguan Maduro.

This will be the second release of Tattoo, although this cigar is completely different than the first. The Tatuaje Tattoo Caballeros will be the first of four cigars. It’s a robusto, packed in 50-count cabinets with MSRP set at $5 per cigar.

Three other sizes are expected at the 2014 IPCPR trade show and convention in July.
