Members of the Tobacconists’ Association of America (TAA) will have the opportunity to receive an exclusive size of My Father’s El Centurion H-2K-CT, a 6 1/2 x 52 box-pressed torpedo.

It’s the latest TAA exclusive from My Father Cigars, Inc. and it will be offered to TAA retailers next month when the group meets in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico.

Each spring, the roughly 80 retailers that make up the TAA meet to discuss issues facing the cigar industry, as well as to meet with select manufacturers. In recent years, many of those manufacturers have created limited edition cigars for members under the TAA’s ESP program.

My Father released the El Centurion H-2K-CT last year in two sizes. It uses a Cuban-seed wrapper grown in Connecticut over a Nicaraguan binder and fillers.

There will be 2,000 boxes of the El Centurion H-2K-CT Torpedo Box-Pressed made. Janny García, vp of My Father, told halfwheel no ship date has been established.

Suggested retail pricing will be $10 per cigar or $200 per box of 20.

Crowned Heads and Tatauje have also announced planned TAA releases for this year. This year’s TAA Convention and Tradeshow kicks off March 6.
