Next month, Antillian Cigar Corp., better known as Sosa, will begin shipping a new cigar made to honor its 50 years in the cigar business, Half Century.

The 6 x 50 toro uses a Cameroon-seed wrapper grown in Mexico, Ecuadorian Sumatra binder and fillers from the Dominican Republic and Nicaragua. It is blended by Juan B. Sosa and made at Tabacalera A. Fuente y Cia’s Factory No.4, which is where Sosa works as a production manager.

Pricing is set at $9.50 per cigar and it will be sold in 1,000 numbered boxes of 25.

The company actually celebrated its 50th anniversary last year and notably released the Sosa 50th Anniversary Pirámides, another Fuente-made cigar with a Cameroon-seed wrapper neither from West Africa, nor Ecuador—although the company declined to say where exactly.
