Several new additions to the Lost&Found collection of cigars have begun arriving at retailers in recent days, some that are completely new and some that are offshoots of previous releases.

Included in the latest batch are four new installments: Cherry Pepper Cream Soda, Diet Pepper Cream Soda, Pepper Cream White Chocolate Cream Crunch, and Forever Fresh Glazed. As is the norm with these releases, only select information is disclosed about each blend and its origins, though the information available tends to vary from release to release.

While the Lost&Found team has not issued a formal announcement about the releases, the following information has been found from several online retailers.

The Cherry Pepper Cream Soda has the least amount of information available about it, though retailers agree it measures six inches long but with a ring gauge reported of both 38 and 48, making it either a petit lancero or a corona, though it appears that most retailers are reporting it as a 48 ring gauge. It comes in packs of six cigars with an MSRP of $60.

Diet Pepper Cream Soda is a belicoso that was rolled in 2008 using a blend of HVA, piloto cubano, habano and light Arapiraca tobaccos, seemingly a blend of Dominican and Brazilian tobaccos. It’s described as smooth and creamy with light spice on the finish, with an MSRP of $100 for a pack of 10. A total of 1,500 cigars are said to have been found and subsequently released.

Pepper Cream White Chocolate Crunch is said to be a 2010 vintage, measuring 5 3/4 x 46 and using a blend of Brazilian Arapiraca over Cuban Aviator, Habano & HVA, with a milk chocolate and white pepper profile. It comes in bundles of 10 priced at $90.

Forever Fresh Glazed measures 6 1/4 x 48 and features an Ecuadorian habano wrapper, with habano, corojo and Cuban aviator tobaccos underneath. It’s said to be from 2011 and comes priced at $100 for a bundle of 10, with 1,800 cigars released.

Additionally, at least one retailer indicated that its shipment contained more of the original releases of Pepper Cream Soda and Pepper Cream Soda Butter, often referred to as Land O’Snakes.

Lost&Found is a collaborative project launched in 2014 under the name Impromptu between Tony Bellatto, Robert Caldwell and Jaclyn Sears where “lost” cigars, oftentimes made for other people and projects, get released under the Lost&Found banner. None of the three take credit for blending the cigars, only for discovering them and bringing them to consumers.

I strive to capture the essence of a cigar and the people behind them in my work – every cigar you light up is the culmination of the work of countless people and often represents generations of struggle and stories. For me, it’s about so much more than the cigar – it’s about the story behind it, the experience of enjoying the work of artisans and the way that a good cigar can bring people together. In addition to my work with halfwheel, I’m the public address announcer for the Colorado Rockies and Arizona Diamondbacks during spring training, as well as for the Salt River Rafters of the Arizona Fall League, the WNBA's Phoenix Mercury and previously the Arizona Rattlers of the Indoor Football League. I also work in a number of roles for Major League Baseball, plus I'm a voice over artist. Prior to joining halfwheel, I covered the Phoenix and national cigar scene for Examiner.com, and was an editor for Cigar Snob magazine.
