There are three new extensions planned for A.J. Fernández Cigars’ San Lotano line.

Governors Cigar & Pipe of Monroe, La. posted an image showing three new extensions for the San Lotano line: Edición Limitada, 54s and Spanish Press.

Edición Limitada was shown off at the 2016 IPCPR Convention & Trade Show, though the company declined to talk specifics.

As for 54s, it appears to be a line of three different 6 x 54 toros offered in three different wrappers according to the company’s website: Broadleaf, Connecticut and Habano.

A picture shows it packaged in cylinders.

San Lotano Spanish Press is a four-size line: Short Churchill (6 x 48), Robusto (5 x 50), Toro (6 x 52) and Gran Toro (6 x 56).

Pictures of the line appear to show it as box-pressed.

Like many companies, A.J. Fernández released a variety of new products to select products prior to Aug. 8. These cigars were shipped prior to that date as it is a deadline set by the U.S. Food & Drug Administration.

Any new cigar introduced after Aug. 8 would be subject to pre-market approval by FDA, meaning the company would not be able to sell that cigar until after it was granted approval by FDA.

The company has declined to comment on these releases at this time.

It is expected that A.J. Fernández will more formally launch these lines at a later date.
