As part of RoMa Craft Tobac’s fifth anniversary, the company has partnered with XIKAR for Monolith, an accessory and cigar combination that the company will sell at the 2016 IPCPR Convention & Trade Show.

A total of 500 Monolith samplers will be made. The samplers come inside XIKAR’s new Cigar Locker, a portable accessory/10-count cigar storage device. Also inside the RoMa Craft Tabac-branded versions of the XIKAR Ash Can, Xi bottle opener, MTX cigar scissors and a new, unannounced XIKAR lighter. With the exception of the Ash Can, the accessories are in matte black.

XIKAR’s marketing material describe the normal Cigar Locker as coming with a portable bluetooth speaker, but the Monolith will not include one.

Each company will get 50 Monoliths each for their own use with the other 400 being sold at next month’s trade show.

All will feature the CroMagnon Timeline, a 6 1/4 x 50 109-style version of the CroMagnon line. Retailers that purchase the Monolith will be entitled to two more bundles of 10 per Monolith.

Skip Martin, co-founder of RoMa Craft Tobac, told halfwheel he expects pricing to be between $300-350 per Monolith. The refill cigars will retail for $12 per cigar.

CroMagnon uses a Connecticut broadleaf wrapper, Cameroon binder and Nicaraguan filler from Estelí, Condega and a small farm near the Honduran border.

Martin also told halfwheel RoMa Craft Tobac will begin selling the branded accessories outside of the Monolith for events beginning in December.

The 2016 IPCPR Convention & Trade Show begins July 25 in Las Vegas.

Update: As noted below, the lighter in the package is not part of the Executive line.

Update (July 2, 2016) — The original version of this article indicated the Monolith would include a speaker, while the XIKAR Cigar Locker will normally come with one, the Monolith will not.
