Fans of theRocky Patel Decade and Cameroon wrappers will soon have reason to be excited as the company announced today that it will be unveiling the Rocky Patel Decade Cameroon at this year’s IPCPR Convention and Trade Show which kicks off on Saturday, July 19.

The Decade Cameroon starts with the same secret binder and filler tobaccos that are found on the original Rocky Patel Decade but wraps them in a rich Cameroon wrapper for a unique taste that the company describes as elegant and well-balanced, starting off with sweet hickory notes, soft spice and caramel. As the cigar progresses, coffee and roasted nuts enter the equation before a clean and flavorful finish.

The Rocky Patel Decade Cameroon is being offered in three sizes, a 5 x 50 robusto, 6 1/2 x 52 toro and 6 1/2 x 52 torpedo, with MSRPs between $9.75 and $11.25 per cigar. Each size is presented in 20-count boxes.

I strive to capture the essence of a cigar and the people behind them in my work – every cigar you light up is the culmination of the work of countless people and often represents generations of struggle and stories. For me, it’s about so much more than the cigar – it’s about the story behind it, the experience of enjoying the work of artisans and the way that a good cigar can bring people together. In addition to my work with halfwheel, I’m the public address announcer for the Colorado Rockies and Arizona Diamondbacks during spring training, as well as for the Salt River Rafters of the Arizona Fall League, the WNBA's Phoenix Mercury and previously the Arizona Rattlers of the Indoor Football League. I also work in a number of roles for MLB.com, plus I'm a voice over artist. Prior to joining halfwheel, I covered the Phoenix and national cigar scene for Examiner.com, and was an editor for Cigar Snob magazine.
