Quesada has flirted around with barberpole versions of its Reserva Privada line, but now retailers around the country will have the opportunity to purchase the cigar.

At next week’s IPCPR Convention & Trade Show, the company will release a limited amount of the Quesada Reserva Privada Barberpole in Robust and Toro formats. The cigar combines the wrappers found on the two Reserva Privada lines, the Ecuadorian Connecticut leaf found on the original Reserva Privada and the Dominican criollo 98 oscuro leaf that was used the Reserva Privada Oscuro.

  • Quesada Reserva Privada Barberpole Robusto (4 3/4 x 52) — $13.60 (Boxes of 10, $136)
  • Quesada Reserva Privada Barberpole Toro (5 5/8 x 54) — $14.65 (Boxes of 10, $146.50)

Each size is limited to 300 boxes of 10 cigars.

Quesada has donated various sizes at previous Procigar auctions and earlier this year a Corona Gorda barberpole was sent to Fine Ash Cigars in Avondale, Ariz.

The 2017 IPCPR Convention & Trade Show begins July 11 in Las Vegas, Nev.
