April 17, 2013 (Potomac Falls, Va.) — Cigarmony, LLC, an innovator in humidification products, has been granted its 2nd U.S. Patent for its high tech humidification product.

“The Humidity Bead System is the ultimate solution for maintaining a precise level of relative humidity and having been granted two U.S. Patents not only provides protection from copy cats but solidifies the fact that it is a truly innovative product,” said Mark Neff, Cigarmony, LLC President and CEO. “While it’s currently being targeted for tobacco storage, there are many other applications for its use such as musical instrument storage and electronics but cigar smokers are the immediate beneficiaries of this leading edge technology.”

“Over humidification of cigars is the single biggest problem with storage. Too much moisture creates draw and burn problems,” said Mark Neff. “The Humidity Bead System takes the guess work out of storing your most precious valuables and collectibles so users can focus on other things rather than constantly worrying if their prized possessions are being stored properly.”

Cigarmony, LLC currently offers the Humidity Bead System in 4 different sizes available in 2 pre-set humidity levels, 65% RH or 70% RH with custom humidification levels available in 40%, 50%, 60% relative humidity.

“These 4 sizes accommodate the widest range of storage applications possible. From the cigar novice to the cigar aficionado, we’ve got them covered. The Humidity Bead System has been tested and reviewed by Cigar Aficionado Magazine and Cigar Journal magazine, both of which gave the Humidity Bead System glowing reviews,” Mr. Neff adds.

I strive to capture the essence of a cigar and the people behind them in my work – every cigar you light up is the culmination of the work of countless people and often represents generations of struggle and stories. For me, it’s about so much more than the cigar – it’s about the story behind it, the experience of enjoying the work of artisans and the way that a good cigar can bring people together. In addition to my work with halfwheel, I’m the public address announcer for the Colorado Rockies and Arizona Diamondbacks during spring training, as well as for the Salt River Rafters of the Arizona Fall League, the WNBA's Phoenix Mercury and previously the Arizona Rattlers of the Indoor Football League. I also work in a number of roles for Major League Baseball, plus I'm a voice over artist. Prior to joining halfwheel, I covered the Phoenix and national cigar scene for Examiner.com, and was an editor for Cigar Snob magazine.
