March 28, 2012 (Miami, FL) — Boutique Blends Cigars announces the introduction of Oliveros Sun Grown Reserve. The Oliveros SGR was released at the IPCPR show in Las Vegas last year on a limited basis.

It was named one of the best 2011 IPCPR releases by many of the cigar bloggers, and was included in the list Top Cigars of 2011 by many of the online cigars reviewers.

The Oliveros SGR is being introduced nationwide by Boutique Blends Cigars, as part of their family of small batch releases, and joins the Swag Puro Dominicano, named No.1 Best Buy Cigar of 2011 by Cigar Insider and the Aging Room Small Batch M356, which was the highest rated cigar of 2011 by Cigar Insider and part of the Top 25 Cigars of 2011 by Cigar Aficionado.

Boutique Blends Cigars was introduced by Oliveros Cigars early this year, to concentrate on the production and distribution of small batch cigars made from hard to find and limited availability premium tobaccos.

The Oliveros SGR is available in 4 traditional sizes, Corto No.1 a 5 x 52 Robusto, Majico No.2 a 6 x 50 Toro, Paco No.3, a 7 x 48 Churchill and the No. 4 a 6 x 54 Belicoso.

The Oliveros SGR is a Medium Bodied cigar, made in Estelí, Nicaragua and is made exclusively with Nicaraguan premium tobaccos.

“The Oliveros SGR is a continuation of our new vision, which started 2 years ago with the release of the Swag Puro Dominicano and continued with the release of the Aging Room Small Batch,” said Rafael Nodal, President of Boutique Blends Cigars and Oliveros Cigars.

“We want to bring the cigar enthusiasts new exiting blends made in small batches, at an every day cigar price,” said Hank Bischoff, Vice President of Boutique Blends Cigars and Oliveros Cigars.

I strive to capture the essence of a cigar and the people behind them in my work – every cigar you light up is the culmination of the work of countless people and often represents generations of struggle and stories. For me, it’s about so much more than the cigar – it’s about the story behind it, the experience of enjoying the work of artisans and the way that a good cigar can bring people together. In addition to my work with halfwheel, I’m the public address announcer for the Colorado Rockies and Arizona Diamondbacks during spring training, as well as for the Salt River Rafters of the Arizona Fall League, the WNBA's Phoenix Mercury and previously the Arizona Rattlers of the Indoor Football League. I also work in a number of roles for Major League Baseball, plus I'm a voice over artist. Prior to joining halfwheel, I covered the Phoenix and national cigar scene for Examiner.com, and was an editor for Cigar Snob magazine.
