Two years ago, when the brothers behind Cigar Hustler of Deltona, Fla. were working on the blend that would become Apollodani, they also created another blend. Now it’s time for the release.

The brothers Szczepankewicz went onto create their own line of cigars under the Powstanie name, which serves as an inspiration for this release. The new 5 1/2 x 46 corona gorda is a barber pole with both an Ecuadorian Connecticut and Pennsylvania broadleaf wrapper over Nicaraguan fillers.

It’s being produced as a nod to those who helped the brothers launch Powstanie. SBC stands for surrounded by champions.

Pricing is not finalized, but the project is limited to 250 boxes of 20 cigars. It will debut at the 2016 IPCPR Convention & Trade Show and have a full launch in October.

Like the regular Powstanie lines, it is produced by Fabrica de Tabacos NicaSueño S.A. Powstanie is distributed by Pospeich Cigars, the distribution owned by the Szczepankewiczs which also distributes Chogüí and Fable.
