The latest Colección Habanos has arrived.

Earlier this month, Christopher A Puszkar, who works for the German distributor 5th Avenue, tweeted that the arrival of Partagás Serie E No. 1 was imminent. Now, it appears it has arrived in Canada, Germany and Switzerland.

The 6 7/10 (170mm) x 54 double robusto is the 12th release in the series, which packs 20 limited edition cigars inside a box that looks like a book. Colección Habanos has always been, with the Partagás limited to 2,000 units, and only offered to La Casa del Habano stores. The vitola chosen for each year has always been unique to the brand, not offered as a regular production size, and by-in-large, the vitolas have been quite large by Cuban standards.

For those interested, the exclusivity and packaging do not come cheap. According to cigar.land, pricing in Germany is €1140, while the Partagás Serie E No. 1 will retail for CHF 1350 in Switzerland, around $1,400 in both markets.

While Habanos S.A. has announced the 2014 Colección Habanos release, the Partagás is actually the second of the series to debut this year. In February, Habanos S.A. shipped the Cuaba Bariay.
