The new Partagás Corona Gorda Añejados is heading to stores in Germany this week.

Christoph A. Puszkar, marketing director for 5th Avenue, told halfwheel that the German distributor is expected to ship the cigar today or tomorrow to La Casa del Habano franchises in Germany.

The 5 5/8 inches (143mm) x 46 corona gorda is the latest entry in Habanos S.A.’s Añejados Series.

Each cigar in the Añejados program is aged for a minimum of five years after rolling in the boxes. The cigars are then banded and released. There have been four releases so far following cigars from Hoyo de Monterrey, Montecristo and Romeo y Julieta, all four are considered global brands from Habanos S.A. None of the cigars are regular, in production sizes for the brands.

The H. Upmann Robustos is allegedly part of the 2016 Habanos S.A. program.

Suggested pricing is €14.80 per cigar ($16.15) and it will come in boxes of 25.
