At this week’s trade show for members of the Tobacconists’ Association of America (TAA), Padrón showed off its latest limited edition.

The Padrón 1926 Serie No. 48 is a 5 1/2 x 60 version of the 1926 Serie blend offered in both Maduro and Natural. It’s the second year in a row that Padrón has created a special version of the 1926 for TAA retailers.

As for the 1926 No. 48, it is scheduled to arrive in mid-June and will carry a price of $20 per cigar or $200 per box of 10.

It’s name, No. 48, comes from the 48th anniversary of the TAA.

The TAA is an organization of approximately 80 retailers who meet each year to discuss issues facing the cigar industry and also to hold a private trade show with select manufacturers. In recent years, many of those companies have created special cigars exclusive to members of the TAA.

This year’s meeting began earlier this week in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico.

Padrón joins CLECrowned HeadsDrew EstateLa Flor DominicanaMy FatherNat Sherman and Tatuaje as creating new cigars for the organization this year.

In addition to the 1926 No. 48, Padrón also offers a special version of its 1964 blend in a 5 x 54 size. It has been offered for a number of years.
