There’s an Oliva Serie V Melanio Edición Limitada 2017, but it won’t becoming to the U.S.

It’s a special round version of the 6 x 60 double toro of the Melanio blend, which uses an Ecuadorian Sumatra wrapper, Nicaraguan binder and Nicaraguan fillers. Oliva has released a plethora of Serie V Melanio vitolas, but they’ve been box-pressed. The company made round versions as test cigars a few years ago, but they were never sold.

That changes with the Edición Limitada 2017. According to Sasja van Horssen, who imports Oliva in Europe, the cigars will likely retail for around €25 ($29.75) per cigar.

Production is limited to 1,500 boxes of 10 cigars and van Horssen expects the cigars to be on European shelves in October.
