Nat Sherman’s Nicaraguan Timeless Collection line will be adding three sizes in the weeks coming up to the 2013 IPCPR trade show, according to Michael Herklots, the company’s executive director of retail and brand development.
The three new sizes, a 7 x 49 Churchill, 5 x 46 Corona and 6 x 52 Torpedo are “in aging” and will be shipping soon, Herklots said. He made the initial announcement about the new sizes in this video by StogieReview.com.
The addition of the three sizes will bring the Nat Sherman Timeless Nicaragua line to a total of six sizes:
- #660 – 6 x 60
- #556 – 5 x 56
- #452 – 4 x 52
- #749 – 7 x 49
- #546 – 5 x 46
- #652T – 6 x 52 (Torpedo)
It also brings both the Dominican and Nicaraguan versions of the Nat Sherman Timeless Collection to a total of six vitolas each, though the two lines don’t match up exactly. The Nat Sherman Timeless Dominican is comprised of these six sizes:
- Churchill – 7 x 48
- No. 2 – 6 1/4 x 52 (Torpedo)
- Hermoso – 5 1/2 x 54
- #5 – 3 3/4 x 43
- Especial – 6 x 38
- Divinos – 5 x 32/50/36
The Nat Sherman Timeless Collection Nicaragua is made at Plasencia Cigars S.A., while the Dominican version is made at S.A.G. Import’s MATASA factory in the Dominican Republic.
The Nat Sherman website describes the Timeless Nicaragua as a “wonderfully medium-bodied Nicaraguan puro, box-pressed in boxes of 21…offering classic flavors of coffee, cocoa and chocolate, as well as a touch of earthinss (sic) and a light spice…creamy and rich.” Herklots didn’t disclose the price of the new additions, but noted that they are “within the same price ranges” of the rest of the line, implying that they should have MSRPs between $6 – $9.
The Nicaraguan-made extension to the Nat Sherman Timeless Collection made its debut at 2012 IPCPR Convention and Trade Show.
