The scheduled late 2012 batch of Cain F Lancero Tubos is shipping to retailers this week. It’s the third formal shipment of the cigar, following the January and July 2012 shipments, which were actually one large batch.

Once again, packaging delays with the tubes are listed as the culprit for the delay, but Oliva says the 5,000 box shipment will begin heading to retailers this week. Pricing remains the same as the July shipment, $6.30 per cigar, or $63.00 per box.

The Cain F Lancero is expected to be a limited release for the foreseeable future, although it’s unclear when Oliva intends on shipping the next batch given the delays with the first three. The cigar debuted as the first STUDIO TOBAC creation in 2010 before finding its way in the 2011 STUDIO TOBAC World Tour Sampler and a debut at IPCPR 2011. In addition the cigar was included in the STUDIO TOBAC Lancero Exclusive Collection in late 2011.
