At this week’s Pepinmania, an annual My Father event held at Holt’s, there will be an exclusive cigar.

My Father makes plenty of cigars for Holt’s and Ashton Distributors, Inc., which are both owned by the Levin family. The company has also made exclusive sizes of existing lines for samplers sold during previous Pepinmania events, but this year will be different.

The My Father Pepinmania is a 6 x 52 toro that uses a proprietary blend according to Anthony Mazzola, general manager of Holt’s. An email sent to Janny García, vp of My Father Cigars, Inc., about the blend was not returned.

It is limited to 300 boxes of 24 with cigars priced at $12 per cigar.

Pepinmania, now in its sixth year, kicks off on Wednesday at the Townsroad location and continues Thursday at the Walnut Street store in downtown Philadelphia. José “Pepín” García, Jaime García and Janny García will all be in attendance for the events.

The Garcías produce the La Aroma de Cuba and San Cristobal brands for Ashton Distributors, Inc. as well as private label blends for Holt’s such as Old Henry.
