LH Cigars will be releasing a new addition to its three core lines in the coming weeks, as the company has announced a 7 1/2 x 42 lancero that is scheduled to begin shipping within the next 30 days.

The new size will come in 20-count boxes with a single stick price of $9.50 and box price of $190. Nicholas Syris of LH Cigars says the lancero will be a regular addition to the company’s portfolio, which includes three blends. The Claro uses an Ecuadorian Connecticut shade grown wrapper, the Colorado uses an Ecuadorian habano wrapper and the Maduro uses an Ecuadorian criollo wrapper. All of the cigars are made at the Tabacos de Costa Rica factory.

LH Cigars were born out of the Lavida Habana collection of retail shops in the Middle East, which offered custom blended Cuban cigars for its clientele before developing blends using tobacco from other countries. The company made its US debut in 2014.

I strive to capture the essence of a cigar and the people behind them in my work – every cigar you light up is the culmination of the work of countless people and often represents generations of struggle and stories. For me, it’s about so much more than the cigar – it’s about the story behind it, the experience of enjoying the work of artisans and the way that a good cigar can bring people together. In addition to my work with halfwheel, I’m the public address announcer for the Colorado Rockies and Arizona Diamondbacks during spring training, as well as for the Salt River Rafters of the Arizona Fall League, the WNBA's Phoenix Mercury and previously the Arizona Rattlers of the Indoor Football League. I also work in a number of roles for MLB.com, plus I'm a voice over artist. Prior to joining halfwheel, I covered the Phoenix and national cigar scene for Examiner.com, and was an editor for Cigar Snob magazine.
