The collaboration from Nick Syris of LH Premium Cigars and “Island” Jim Robinson of Leaf & Bean will begin shipping next week.

While it was originally announced as Lavida Isla, the cigar has been renamed as Nick & Jim’s P.B.E., the latter standing for pre band edition.

“We decided to take a challenge put in front of us and turn it into a positive,” said Syris in a press release. “The packaging has a simple, yet rustic look. At the same time, cigar enthusiasts will be getting the same great cigar that was slated to be called Lavida Isla.”

As for the cigar, it’s a 6 x 54 vitola with an Ecuadorian wrapper. The cigar was developed by Syris for Robinson’s Leaf & Bean stores, but the two decided to release the cigars to other accounts.

Pricing is set at $9.95 and it is offered in boxes of 20.

3R, Robinson’s distribution company, will be responsible for sales of the cigar.
