Royal Gold Cigars will be the latest to enter the 7 x 70 category in the form of The Whale, the sixth and largest size for the company’s Casino Gold HRS line.

Alex Goldman, president of Royal Gold Cigars, told halfwheel the name reflects a common name used by casinos to describe their most valuable players. MSRP is set at $8.50 per cigar or $127.50 for a box of 15. The original five sizes are all offered in boxes of 21. The Whale will debut at the 2014 IPCPR Convention and Trade Show in July.

The blend will remain the same according to Goldman—a habano rosado wrapper from the Jalapa region of Nicaragua, a Cameroon binder and three different Nicaraguan fillers.

Casino Gold HRS is made in Honduras by the Plasencia family. Royal Gold Cigars is a division of Swisher International.
