The fifth La Palina Goldie is headed to stores this week.

Once again, the cigar will be a skinny vitola with the Goldie Dalia measuring 6 3/4 x 43 according to a report from Cigar Aficionado. The new size will retail for $20, the most expensive in the Goldie series.

Since 2012, La Palina has released a single size of the Goldie blend, which uses an Ecuadorian habano wrapper, Ecuadorian binder and Dominican and Nicaraguan fillers. The line is noted because it is rolled entirely by one roller, Maria Sierra, at El Titan de Bronze in Miami.

The cigar is limited to 2,500 boxes of 10 cigars. Typically the company has released half the shipment in the spring with the second half showing up later in the year. It is expected to begin shipping this week.

It is named after Goldie Drell Paley, grandmother of the company’s current owner, William C. Paley.

A text message sent to Sam Phillips of La Palina was not returned.
