December will be a busy month for La Flor Dominicana. It starts with the shipping of the The Cigar Formerly Known As “M” (TCKFA M) Collector’s Edition.

La Flor Dominicana TCFKA M 2

The 7 x 55 perfecto is a special version of TCFKA M, the cigar formerly known as La Flor Dominicana Mysterio. It uses an Ecuadorian Connecticut shade wrapper with broadleaf accents and five different Dominican and Nicaraguan fillers. It’s priced at $19.30 and is once again offered in boxes of five.

This is the second year the company has released a Collector’s Edition version of the perfecto. The company is not disclosing production numbers, only stating that it will be available for ordering “throughout the holiday season.”

La Flor Dominicana was forced to abandon the Mysterio and Mysterioso names after a lawsuit was filed by Connecticut Valley Tobacconist over trademark concerns. La Flor Dominicana has already released the regular TCFKA “M” in both natural and maduro version, as well as El Carajon.

La Flor Dominicana Digger ashtrays

Also shipping is the Digger Porcelain ashtray ($40) that was shown off at the 2014 IPCPR Convention & Trade Show. The mahogany version of the ashtray, which will retail for $80, is still not shipping as of this week. La Flor Dominicana has one more cigar release scheduled for this year, the long-awaited 1994 Beer Stein.

For those waiting on the company’s Digger cigar scissors, La Flor Dominicana told halfwheel it’s delayed until 2015.
