The College World Series has arrived in Omaha, Neb. and so has a new cigar that keeps with the baseball theme.

La Flor Dominicana has shipped the Special Baseball Edition, a version of the company’s 1994 blend that measures 6 1/2 inches long. It starts at 46 ring gauge near the bottom of the bat and then expands out to 52 ring gauge at the end of barrel.

The release is an exclusive to SG Roi and the shop’s cigar bar, Havana Garage. A total of 30 boxes of 10 were produced with pricing set at $12 per cigar.

The cigar keeps the 1994 blend’s Mexican San Andrés wrapper, though it adds Connecticut accents for the handle of the bat. Underneath is a Dominican binder and Dominican fillers.

This is not La Flor Dominicana’s first sports-related cigar, the company has released a football-themed cigars to retailers in the area around where the Super Bowl has been hosted the last two years. While both Fuente and My Father have previously made similar baseball bat cigars, La Flor is the first retailer to formally sell them as a boxed item.
