On Monday, La Flor Dominicana will inform retailers that it will raise prices on all of its cigars by 2.5 percent effective Aug. 1, 2015.

The move is the first price increase since 2013 when the company raised prices 1.5 percent. La Flor Dominicana says the price increase is not only due to increased production and importation cost, but also a result of the company’s legislative efforts.
