La Colmena Reina Arrives at Maxamar Ultimate Cigar
Sky Flower, La Hacienda and Celestial. If you thought those were the only new releases from Warped Cigars arriving within the last few weeks, it’s time to make room for one more—Reina.
That’s the name that was ultimately given to the La Colmena exclusive for Maxamar Ultimate Cigar and its online store, SmallBatchCigar.com. The 6 x 48 belicoso arrived at the Orange, Calif. retailer over the weekend. It’s the fifth cigar in the La Colmena line and the third belicoso.
La Colmena uses an Ecuadorian DesFlorada wrapper, Ecuadorian binder and filler from the Dominican Republic and Nicaragua. Warped released the La Colmena Unico Especial, a limited edition 5 x 48 belicoso, last year. Earlier this year, Black Honey—a Unico Especial with a Ecuadorian habano oscuro wrapper—was released in small quantities.
Only 200 bundles of 10 are available with pricing set at $165 per bundle. The cigars are made at El Titan de Bronze.
