Next month, Jake Wyatt Cigar Co. will be doing a limited release of Lithium, its newest full production line.

It features an Ecuadorian habano wrapper over a Dominican binder and fillers, which the company describes as medium-full in strength. Lithium is being offered in a 6 x 50 vitola that the company refers to as a double robusto, coming with a pigtail cap and closed foot, with plans for more sizes in the future. Tabacalera JVM in the Dominican Republic producing the line.

Neil Garcia of Jake Wyatt Cigar Co. said the company is aiming to have a full release ready for the PCA Convention & Trade Show in July 2021. When that happens, the company will be releasing the cigars in boxes.

He added that the cigar is named for the company’s hope that it can provide a calming effect on those who want to sit down and chill out a bit.

The company has produced 200 bundles of 10 cigars for the launch, which are being made available to all of its authorized retailers and will be priced at $110.

I strive to capture the essence of a cigar and the people behind them in my work – every cigar you light up is the culmination of the work of countless people and often represents generations of struggle and stories. For me, it’s about so much more than the cigar – it’s about the story behind it, the experience of enjoying the work of artisans and the way that a good cigar can bring people together. In addition to my work with halfwheel, I’m the public address announcer for the Colorado Rockies and Arizona Diamondbacks during spring training, as well as for the Salt River Rafters of the Arizona Fall League, the WNBA's Phoenix Mercury and previously the Arizona Rattlers of the Indoor Football League. I also work in a number of roles for Major League Baseball, plus I'm a voice over artist. Prior to joining halfwheel, I covered the Phoenix and national cigar scene for Examiner.com, and was an editor for Cigar Snob magazine.
