Smoking in parks, beaches, stadiums, cars and on television and films could become illegal in Italy.
According to La Repubblica, Beatrice Lorenzin, the country’s health minister, is seeking a variety of stricter rules, likely starting with attempting to ban smoking in vehicles while children is present.
Smoking is already banned in indoor public places—including bars—in the country.
