IPCPR 2017: Visol Products

Plano, Texas-based Visol Products always brings a plethora of new products to the IPCPR Convention & Trade Show, and this year was no different. In addition to new ashtrays, new lighters and new cases, Visol was also showing off some new Porsche Design products after wining the exclusive distribution rights in the U.S.A.

Another interesting note is the fact that Visol is now offering custom printing and engraving on almost any item they sell with only a 25 product minimum order, a fact that I overhead a number of both retailers and manufacturers point out as something they would be taking advantage of.

A big part of this year’s showings for Visol was new ashtrays, and the company is now offering seven different crystal ashtrays in multiple configurations with MSRPs ranging from $45 to $75, depending on size.

• Visol Callisto Square Crystal Cigar Ashtray — $60

In addition, the company released four glass ashtrays at lower price points which sell for between $15 and $24.

Moving on to cases, Visol showed off some new tube humidors, including a Mini Cigar Case and different cases that hold various numbers of cigars, some of which come equipped with hydrometers embedded into the cap.

Next up are the Artemis Tripple Flame lighters,[ref]All the lighters use the spelling “Tripple” instead of “Triple” on the company’s price sheet.[/ref] which is available in seven different colors for $12 each.

Another new lighter is the Ares Tripple Flame Torch Lighter, which comes in two different finishes, with each version retailing for $24.

Very similar to the Ares Tripple Flame Torch Lighter, the Visol Trigger Tripple Flame Torch Lighter features a plastic exterior as well as a much lower price and four different colors.

The Visol Bidi Slim Single Flame Torch Lighter and Visol Bidi Press Single Flame Torch Lighter feature a single flame in a small packaged that can be carried almost anywhere.

Next up is the Pyros series of lighters, all three of which feature four tourches in three different finishes.

With a similar look to the Pyros series, the Janus lighters feature three flames in a vertical line and comes in three colors.

There was also the Athens series, which are two different lighters with three flames and a smaller footprint as well as a smaller price point.

Much like the Artemis series, the Hades series features three flames in a circular case and an affordable price, and is available in three different finishes.

On the pipe lighter front, Visol released five different pipe lighters under the Epirus series, with two in wood finishes and three in metal finishes.

Finally, Visol released three different Rio triple-flame lighters, all of which retail for $20.

According to the company, its Legend Series of Spanish leather cigar cases is quite popular, so this year it added a built-in pouch cigar cutter on the top, and is selling them for $70 each. Each pouch can hold up to three 60 ring gauge cigars.

In addition, Visol showed off a number of new Porsche Design branded products, including the Duo twin torch flame lighters, which feature a built-in punch and come in three different color schemes.
