Tre J Cigars was a booth full of three guys who were extremely enthusiastic about their cigars. Jay Clark, John Johnson and Jerry Garrett started the company with three blends, the White Label, Blue Label and Black Label, each blended by one of the guys towards their own personal preferences, with each blend only coming in one size that they thought best fit it. This year they brought in somebody new to blend a new line for them.

Tre J invictis

Invictis
Launched a few weeks back, Invictis was blended by José Blanco. A regular production line, the Invictis will come in three sizes: Legions (5 1/2 x 46, $6.75) Centurio (5 1/4 x 50, $8.50) and Emperor (6 x 54, $9).

Extensions
While not at the show, they did mention that coming towards the end of the year would be new sizes for a couple of their original lines. The Blue Label will be getting a toro and the White Label a corona. Prices or specific sizes weren’t known yet.

I have been smoking cigars since 2005 and reviewing them as a hobby since 2010. Initially, I started out small with a 50-count humidor and only smoking one or two cigars a month. Not knowing anybody else that smoked cigars, it was only an occasional hobby that I took part in. In March of 2010, I joined Nublive and Cigar Asylum, connecting me with many people who also shared an interest in cigars. Reading what they had to say about brands I had never heard of, I quickly immersed myself in the boutique brands of the industry and it was then that cigars transformed from a hobby into a passion.
