Not much was new at RoMa Craft Tobac this year, but what was new is exciting.
The first thing isn’t new at the show, but the recent release in April of the Neanderthal SGP will be the first some people might be seeing of this cigar. The SGP is a 4 1/2 x 52 robusto that uses the Neanderthal blend: a Mexican San Andrés wrapper, Connecticut broadleaf binder and filler tobaccos including Condega, Estelí, Jalapa and Pueblo Nuevo from Nicaragua; Dominican olor ligero and Pennsylvania “Green River Sucker One” double ligero.
What’s debuting at the show, however, is the El Catador de las Petite Coronas. These are a 10-count sampler of each of RoMa Craft’s blends, three of which are new sizes that have never been seen before. The sampler box will retail for $62.50.
