Craig Cunningham has a new series of cigars on display at the Esteban Carreras booth. The first of which, Black Cross, has already come out, while the latest one, Bronze Cross, is heading to retail in the very near future.
Named for a mark put on the doors of people who supported Esteban Carreras, an organizer who pushed back against the takeover of the tobacco fields during the Cuban revolution, the Black Cross uses Nicaraguan fillers and a habano café wrapper. It is coming in six sizes, Cervantes (5 3/4 x 46, $10), Bonita (4 x 43, $6), Corona (5 1/2 x 46, $7), Robusto (5 x 50, $7.50), Toro (6 x 50, $8) and Sixty (6 x 60, $10).
Cunningham is building on that with Bronze Cross, which uses a Sumatra wrapper instead. It is getting four sizes to start with, a Torpedo (6 1/4 x 54, $9), Toro (5 1/2 x 54, $8), Figurado (6 1/2 x 52, $12) and Sixty (6 x 60, $10).
Here’s more from Cunningham about these:
Shipping should begin in about 30 days, and there will be a Silver Cross coming out later this year, likely around Christmas.
