The Arturo Fuente/J.C. Newman booth was as boisterous as ever, with cheerful music playing and plenty of beautiful cigars and accessories to look at. All of the new Fuente cigars coming out were said to have a late September to early October release date and are all limited to 1,000 boxes.

It should be noted, the company also has special lighters and other accessories being made by Colibri and Prometheus this year in addition to S.T. Dupont.

Lastly, J.C. Newman was celebrating 120 years in business with its Diamond Crown Black Diamond. It should be shipping towards the end of the year, but many things were still being finalized including the blend and packaging, so not much information was available about it.

The company previously released the Diamond Crown Black Diamond Toast Across America Torpedo, although it was described as a rebranded Diamond Crown Maduro.

I have been smoking cigars since 2005 and reviewing them as a hobby since 2010. Initially, I started out small with a 50-count humidor and only smoking one or two cigars a month. Not knowing anybody else that smoked cigars, it was only an occasional hobby that I took part in. In March of 2010, I joined Nublive and Cigar Asylum, connecting me with many people who also shared an interest in cigars. Reading what they had to say about brands I had never heard of, I quickly immersed myself in the boutique brands of the industry and it was then that cigars transformed from a hobby into a passion.
