Casa de Montecristo of Countryside, Ill. has announced that it has received an exclusive cigar from Illusione and will begin shipping it next month.

The Illusione Casa Especiale is a  6 x 50 toro described as a blend of the company’s eccj and Singularé 2014 blend. Casa de Montecristo describes the Nicaragua puro as “medium.”

Dion Giolito of Illusione told halfwheel he was unsure of how many boxes were sent to Casa de Montecristo.

In July, Illusione transitioned Cigars Privé from the company’s private label brand used for single store releases to a standalone brand. Giolito told halfwheel this blend was produced before that transition.

Pricing is set at $11.95 per cigar or $164.95 per box of 15.

The cigars were produced at Tabacos Valle de Jalapa S.A. (TABSA) in Estelí, Nicaragua.

Note: Casa de Montecristo is an indepently-owned franchise store of the Casa de Montecristo brand, which is owned by Imperial Brands plc. Separate franchises are based in Boynton Beach, Fla., Las Vegas and Miami. Imperial Brands plc owns and operates stores in Dallas and New York City.
