For third year in a row, Gurkha’s IPCPR trade show plans will include something with new the Cellar Reserve brand. In 2012, the company introduced the origin line, last year it added the Cellar Reserva Limitada and this year there will be a Gurkha Cellar Reserve Limitada.

The newest edition has a corojo wrapper and 18-year-old Dominican fillers according to the company. Four sizes will be offered, each limited to 1,000 boxes of 20 cigars: Koi (4 x 58, $11), Solara (5 x 58, $12.20), Hedonism (6 x 50, $14) and  Kraken (6 x 60, $15.60). For those wondering if there will be a fourth—it seems likely.

“I partnered with our blenders to search for the rarest tobaccos we could find and stumbled upon this 18-year old Corojo wrapper and blend,” said Kaizad Hansotia, head of Gurkha Cigar Group, in a press release. “There was only enough to make 1000 boxes of each size and we couldn’t be happier with the outcome.  In fact, at this very moment we are searching for another rare blend for next year.”

The Cellar Reserve Edición Especial is made at Tabacalera Las Lavas S.R.L in the Dominican Republic. The company expects to begin shipping the cigars in mid-August.
