Guayacan’s portfolio will expand this summer. The Nicaraguan-based company will release Sabor de Esteli in two wrappers and four sizes later this year.

The new line uses Nicaraguan fillers and a choice of Ecuadorian habano and a to-be-determined maduro wrapper. Noel Rojas told halfwheel he is still deciding between a hybrid corojo and criollo maduro wrapper or to use Mexican San Andrés, which is what he is using for the upcoming Guayacan Maduro.

Rojas said four sizes are planned, a gordo, robusto, toro and a limited edition 6 x 42 corona. Pricing is expected to be $7-10 and the cigars could be available as early as June. The Sabor de Esteli Corona is limited to 500 boxes and will feature a closed foot and pigtail.

Guayacan is distributed by House of Emilio in the U.S.
