While it won’t be available in the U.S., there will be a Griffin’s Nicaragua Special Edition 2016 heading to international markets next month.

The cigar uses the same red/black color scheme as the Griffin’s Nicaragua, which launched last year, but features a special secondary band. It measures approximately 5 3/8 x 50/52 in a parejo shape.

While it’s unknown if the blend will be the same, the Griffin’s Nicaragua uses a Nicaraguan habano wrapper over a Dominican piloto cubano binder and five filler tobaccos: Dominican San Vicente seco and piloto mejorado seco, Honduran Olancho seco, and Nicaraguan Estelí lager and Ometepe viso.

Griffin’s is owned by Oettinger Davidoff AG and produced at the company’s O.K. Cigars factory in the Dominican Republic.
