Gabriel Alvarez Joins Casa Cuevas
Less than two weeks after resigning from Maya Selva Cigars, Gabriel Alvarez has announced that he will become the director of sales for Casa Cuevas.
Casa Cuevas is a new company from the Cuevas family, which operates the Tabacalera Las Lavas S.R.L. factory in the Dominican Republic. While the company has produced cigars for a variety of clients, perhaps most notably Gurkha, this marks the family’s entry into sales and distribution of their own cigars.
The company’s own Instagram account indicates that it will have at least a Connecticut, Habano and Maduro blend.
