At an event tonight at W. Curtis Draper in Washington D.C., Fratello will debut its latest releases, Boxer Series.

The line expands on the idea of the Boxer, a once limited 6 1/4 x 52 box-pressed belicoso, by adding four additional box-pressed sizes of the original Fratello blend.

The cigars will only be sold in samplers, which are designed to look like a mold and include one each of the Boxer, along with the Boxeador (6 x 54), Boxero (5 1/2 x 50), Boxista (5 x 48) and Boxerito (4 3/4 x 46).

Suggested retail pricing is $45 per sampler and only 3,000 samplers are being produced.

Omar de Frias, owner of Fratello, told halfwheel that the company has begun shipping the Boxer Series to other accounts today.

Fratello’s cigars are produced at Fabrica de Tabacos Joya de Nicaragua S.A. The Boxer Series and the original Fratello use a Nicaraguan habano wrapper, Ecuadorian sumatra binder and fillers from Nicaragua and Peru.
