The Elencos is back.

This week, E.P. Carrillo will begin shipping the Elencos. The brand debuted in 2011, though the blend was actually identical to the company’s 2010 Edición Limitada. While the company didn’t make it clear at the beginning, Elencos was apparently originally intended to be a limited item and it eventually was phased out.

This year, the company showed off a new-look Elencos. The blend is slightly different, it keeps the Brazilian wrapper and Nicaraguan fillers from the original, but the Dominican binder has been replaced by one from Ecuador.

It’s offered in the same three sizes as the original version.

  • Elencos Don Rubino (5 1/4 x 50) — $8.25 (Boxes of 20, $165)
  • Elencos Elites (6 x 54) — $9 (Boxes of 20, $180)
  • Elencos Acto Mayor (6 1/4 x 52) — $9.25 (Boxes of 20, $185)

Note: The box and band pictured above show the name as “Elenco.” Dave Spirt, vp of sales for E.P. Carrillo, told halfwheel the packaging now reads Elencos.
